Screen Break

Rogers

Screen time is a growing issue for Canadians across the country, especially when it comes to teens who spend an average of 5.2 hours a day on their phones.

As the largest provider of personal devices in the country, Rogers created 'Screen Break', a 5-year program launched in order to address the issue of screen addiction head-on.

The '5.2 project' film

The film brought parents face-to-face with the reality of 5.2 hours of screentime, as we recorded a few teens for a full day and then made their parents watch all 5+ hours of their children on their phone as a continuous film.

Athlete Interviews

To showcase positive role models, the campaign utilized famous athletes - Connor McDavid, George Springer, John Tavares, Sarah Nurse, Marie Philip-Poulin, and Trey Yesavage - in an interview series to stress the need for balance.
